Custom Home Building Process

RESEARCH & DISCOVERY
Initial meeting with you and your agent to discuss your budget, your custom plan and the lot you want to build on. We will talk about septic systems and wells if needed or any unique circumstances to your specific lot. We will answer any questions about what to expect in the home building journey.
02.
Design & Plan
Meet with a local plan designer to draw your plans to meet your specific needs.
03.
Pricing & Agreement
Once we have the plan, we will present you with the pricing and detailed specifications. From there you can sign a construction agreement that has all the specifications for your build.
04.
Plans to Lender
Meet with a local plan designer to draw your plans to meet your specific needs.
05.
Selection Process
Begin the selection process which will include flooring, paint colors, cabinetry, countertops, door styles, plumbing fixtures and any details we will need to build your new home.
06.
Construction
Once the permits are ready and the construction loan has closed, we will begin construction. We will have some onsite meetings during construction and answer any questions along the way.
07.
Close & Move-in
The moment you’ve been waiting for! You’ll close on your new home with the lender and we’ll provide you with a final orientation before handing you the keys.
Semi-Custom Home Building Process

Initial meeting with you and your agent to discuss your budget, your custom plan and the lot you want to build on. We will talk about septic systems and wells if needed or any unique circumstances to your specific lot. We will answer any questions about what to expect in the home building journey.
We’ll discuss your new dream home and lay out all the steps going forward. You’ll select one of our floor plans— or provide your own — and select a home site, if necessary.
You’ll select a lender and review and sign a purchase agreement. The purchase agreement and the plans will go to the lender for final approval. During this phase, we’ll assist with the necessary permitting.
We present you with the pricing and detailed specifications. From there you can sign a purchase and sale agreement.

The moment you’ve been waiting for! Once the home is complete, we will provide an orientation to fill you in on the features and needed maintenance of your new home.

We could call or email him with any question or concern, no matter how small, and he would respond back to us within a very reasonable timeframe.
